Everything's a patch "now and days".
I'm truly surprised it took the drug companies this long to come up with it. I cannot be the only parent who's kid will not take a pill (whole vs. chewable). I've been asking the pediatrician and pharmacist for months for a pill-alternative. I just picked up DQ's prescription and mentioned it to the pharmacist (that it was now FDA approved) and she said I could get a script from the ped and have it on file so that as soon as it becomes available, she'll have it, and will check weekly for it's availability for order. :yay:

I guess I'm lucky, my oldest has no problems swallowing pills, but I will look into the patch.

I know there is a liquid form of one of the adhd med's.

I think the pill thing is an age issue. Some older children I know who take pills don't have issues; seems it's mostly younger ones. So this will be a blessing for us! It's for ages 6-12 which should get her through to where she's more "grown" to take a pill w/o the battle. :yay:

I asked about a liquid as well, but they said there wasn't anything like that ... maybe it's something that's not an option for her for some reason (allergy).

This is a "We can't control are kids so lets drug them" threads.
No different than a "I can't handle life so I drug myself with alcohol" thread. :bubble:

Read it! OH that's to hard...I'll just drug the kid instead!
If you're stupid enough to believe EVERYTHING you read (even when it's author lacks appropriate credentials for making that determination), then you're even more stupid than I originally gave you credit for. :ohwell:

You're not dealing with two people who just wanted to "shut their kids up", dumbass. :duh:

How does the author lack? Did you read it?

The author has no credentials to validate his opinion. He's not a doctor. He's just another azzhole ... excuse me ... offering his opinion. Same difference.

What do YOU know about ADHD? What research have YOU done? What books have YOU read? What doctors, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, specialists, etc. have YOU talked to about it? :snacks:
