Does anyone have a recipe for good home-made ranch dressing?

I want to make a ranch/bacon/tomatoe macaroni salad....but I don't want to use commercial dressing....

Ingredients:

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh dill
1/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 dash of paprika
Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and let chill for 1-2 hours.


This recipe for Ranch Dressing serves/makes .75 cup.

ok, how about the dressing for Amish macaroni salad? I like this and used to buy it at Shoppers but they have a new format and don't sell it anymore. So maybe I can duplicate it...
