How about those Swiss! Where do you think they will hold the next regatta? Perhaps Lake Geneva.
The Kiwis were certainly whining when the Swiss showed up with an International crew on board....mostly Kiwis. Shows what money can buy. But I guess that is sports these days. It is strange though that after the Kiwis lost race three they brought a Frog on board.
I also heard that the Kiwis said it would be good sportsmanship if the Swiss did not continue race 4 after the New Zealand boat broke their mast. Strange that they should try radical changes in the technology, but start crying when it fails. They should have stayed with the proven shroud technology of America. Altogether the Kiwis had three major equipment failures in five races.
