The top picture of the ferry boat is heading into Emerald Bay, the trees got in my way and I suck at picture taking.

Does the friend mention the houses are jammed together like sardines and the poles with different color tape on the roadsides to measure the snowfall in feet?

She moved there 10 years ago from San Francisco. She works for Hyatt so her housing isn't an issue. And she loves snow.

I was shocked how clear the water was when I visited 6 yrs. ago...was told Lake Tahoe's water is 99.9% pure, you can see 75 feet below the surface!
I also noticed all the wooden boats-Gar Woods and Chris-Crafts everywhere.
Beautiful!!!!
