Starting to plan a kayaking trip in Alaska. Has anyone done this? Any pointers? Thinking about going around Kodiak Island or Kenai peninsula. The Juneau area seems like it would be overly touristy since the cruise ships always go through there (and I would hate to be hit by cruise ship when paddling a kaya).
