When I first moved to SoMD, my boss was telling me about how she played the organ and sang at the Charles (?) county fair - "Here she is.....Queen Nicotina......"

I laughed so hard I thought I'd cry.

Then I found out she wasn't just kidding - there really is a Queen Nicotina.

The Queen title for our school growing up was "Queen Buckwheat"

Seems like every beauty queen is destin to stay in St Mary's county or is there a law if they win they can never leave???
