Looks like it will be a consumer model of the D80 with 10mp, and large LCD. Simular to like the D50 is to the D70. Look for it by Christmas.

Just in case anyone is looking for a DSLR for Christmas

Well it looks like the rumors of the D60 were a little premature. Nikon seems to be coming out with a D40 first. Looks like it will be a beginners DSLR

You can get the original Digital Rebel on eBay for ~$300...
