Recommend Doctor in Calvert for general practice???

We have moved to Calvert, and are looking for a new family practitioner for general care, get a physical, etc. Any recommnendations? Warnings?

He sits and talks with you, takes time, doesn't look at his watch...very thorough, makes sure you understand everything. He's just a very nice guy.

Dr. Sterner in Owings has been our family doctor for approximately 20 years. He and various associates (he has none now) have always been very good.

I don't know if he is taking new patients.

:yeahthat: I love Dr. Brooks and had him as my family practitioner for years. His associate Dr. Schlager is also good but just didn't have the "bedside manner" as Dr. Brooks.
