I know there is the pool in Great Mills.

Are there any other options relatively convenient to Leonardtown?

This is for a senior citizen with badly arthritic knees and hips on a limited income.

Take care,
Melody

No pools in Ltown that I know of...Tai Chi is easy on the joints, and I think that is offered at the senior center in Ltown.

Thanks! Mom really needs exercise that will really get her moving yet is easy on the joints. Swimming sounds like the thing for that generally. I keep hoping there is a pool or aqua aerobics somewhere that I haven't heard about.

It cheeses me off a bit that we have a county skateboard park but the only way we got a pool was because of that builder that put in BJs. There were rumors at one time about putting a pool in the Chaptico park but last I ever heard anything, that had been squashed. Chaptico park of course is no closer to Leonardtown than Great Mills but it would have least been near me and for various reasons I wish my mom would come to my house more.
