Daytona Rolex 24 this weekend

I love the Rolex 24! I've been to two different races. One in 2002 and one in 2003. The night racing is awesome when you're in the infield seeing the red hot exhaust pipes and flames coming out, coupled with noise and headlights...

I remember the morning of the 2003 one in detail because that is the day the space shuttle fell apart on reentry.

I'll have to catch part 1 of the race on Saturday on SPEED. The GT class is the best IMO.

I like the GT class, in a sense that it is more of a real "stock" car racing series. I would much rather prefer to see a Vette and Porsche racing vice seeing a grocery getter going round and round.
I prefer the prototype classes of the ALMS series over the Daytona prototype series though. Either way, endurance racing is my favorite to watch as it is a great test of the crews, cars, and drivers.

I guess you haven't compared lap times of a NASCAR compared to a prototype at Watkins Glen, or VIR.
Furthermore, you have no concept of what race car driving skills are.
