Does anyone know how child support payments are calculated in PA? Like in Texas its 25% of non-custodial parents income?

It looks like it is the same as in Maine where I had to deal with it. Let's say you make 40,000 a year and the X makes 35,000 a year, they'll have a table that says if together the parents make 75,000 a year, it would take 600 a month to raise the child. You make 53.33% of the 75k and your X makes 46.66% of the $75,000.

So, you would be responsible for 53.33% of that $600 and the X would be responsible for 46.66% of the $600. The custodial parent of course isn't actually paying that amount to anyone else but that's what the court determines it should cost them.

Basically, you'd have to have the table to figure it out on your own.

My child support went through PA when we first divorced. They rock. Maryland sucks! PA always communicates with you and sends you copies of everything!
