Or is there a hobby store/some-where to go to use a sewing machine?

I'm preparing to take my kite addiction to a new level and want to try it out first!

Of course, if you break it, I'll have to poke your eyes out with a dirty needle.

I have thick skin and would sooner take a slap in the face from someone in person only to still laugh it off


Thanks for the offer Tracey but for what I'll be doing with it might be a bit much and wouldn't want to chance it on a friends.

This is basically what I'm about to start making; banners and line laundry like the bol at the top. BTW, Corey captured this shot and for perspective it's a 22' pole that it's flying off of.

Vintage values occasionally has them for around $10.00

The Sewing a Vac place on Great Mills Rd has some used ones for sale....might want to try there

Both good ideas that I checked on today, no luck but thanks for the suggestions. It's now off to craigs list to look
