Does anyone out there have a PS3? I bought one I guess a few months ago and I have a problem. When I put a PS2 format disc in the image is all pixilated. Anyone else have this problem or know the solution? I tried to adjust all the HD output modes but no help.

I have heard that ps2 games can have this problem if you do not run the most recent firmware update. You should be able to hook your ps3 right up to the internet and run the update tool, and in a couple hours your problem might be fixed (the first update is a big one).

You can also go here to make sure the game is compatable, as not all PS2 games work.

I had one of the first systems that were released and I couldn't play any PS2 games at first. I had to update the firmware to play games. Which PS3 do you have? The 60GB model has Wi-Fi built in. Maybe you can borrow someone else's connection?

I have the 60gb. I did not know it had built in WiFi :lmao: Problem is I live down in Welcome, no high speed net. I have a Verizon card for my Laptop for internet here.
