I'm getting rid of my CPU and want to clear all my files/folders, I know that just deleting doesn't actual delete the information from the hard drive storage. Can one advise the best way to achieve this? TIA

define "getting rid of"
donating or trashing?
If trashing, pull the hard drive out and smash it.
