Not SOMD radio, but 94.7 The Globe. :yay:

WKIK, 102.9. Hated country until about 6 months ago, then that's the only station I could get at work, now I love it. :yay: But I don't like "Awesome" Frank Dawson....he's on every one of the Southern Maryland Stations and he spends way too much time at Ralph's Dodge on Rt. 4.

:killingme: "Awesome" Frank Dawson is about the worst, hands-down, DJ I've ever heard on public radio. I know he probably means well but if I have to listen to one of his meaningless conversations with "Bubba" again about NASCAR, I'm going to shoot my radio.
And I agree, he spends wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much time at Ralph's Dodge in Prince Frederick. I'm thinking he must be related to the owner somehow.
I haven't been able to find a good southern Maryland radio station. WKIK is okay but they don't have live information in the morning (in case you were wondering, the so-called traffic report is simply repeated over and over again with little to no updates).
I just bought a 2006 minivan that had Sirius satellite radio built in and the previous owner must have paid for a year in advance. I'm listening to free satellite radio until it stops playing...then I'll check out the radio stations again!

I never minded country until I listened to that station. They play the same 5 songs in rotation all day long.
The rocket plays to much old crap. Heart?? Come ON!
The globe, if you listen to that, well you just have issues.

I don't usually listen to the news.
My bedside radio is set to 97.7 in case of school closings. But that does me no good since I get up at 430-5am and am ready to walk out the door by 6am, just in time for the first "report" of the day.

Either 97.7 or 102.9 on my radio.
97.7 needs to play newer rock and harder rock
102.9 needs to stop playing the same songs over and over

While I like the music on 97.7, I can't stand Mojo. He is the poster child for the stereotypical DJ. I usually listen to 98.3 on the way to work. I kind of like the trivia game, gets my brain working in the morning.

I can't stand listening to that woman that plays trivia in the morning. I'd rather listen to static.

I love 97.7. Older stuff, new stuff...I think it's the best local station around. And I love Mojo, he cracks me up!
What ever happened to Moondoggie or what ever his name was? Anyone know?
