In the bottom right corner of the window is a microsoft security center icon (shield). I keep having a window popping up from it saying that "there are a number of spyware applications impacting the performance of my computer. Click this icon to get rid of unwanted spyware by downloading an up-to-date antispayware solution." When you click it, a site called "Spycrush" comes up, wanting you to pay for the service after your "free scan".

How can I get rid of this? It's like a virus has taken over that icon. I've run MS Defender and AdAware and it's still popping up. I've looked at the add/remove programs list and thing seem normal as far as what is installed.

Any suggestions?
