I have been looking at this Notebook. Is this a good deal? I want to play games, do homework and surf the net.

I don't know if I would be a big fan of playing games on a notebook. But if you are looking for mobility, then you are on the right track. :)

It has a dedicated video card though. Thats the only reason I was going to play games on it.

I'd stray away from Alienware and Dell for the moment; unless you really want to rack up the dollar signs when purchasing it. Dell is rather cheap, and has financing - but they don't give much options in regards to customizing. As for business class, they're not always better than that of a personal laptop. If you're going to play games, at all, you're going to definitely need a dedicated GPU. Although, I'm currently using an onboard ATI Mobility (2600HD XT) - and it's one kickass onboard graphics card. The problem with things like a good onboard gpu is that you'll also end up with loads of money going into the laptop. All you really need, unless you play high-res games, would be a 128bit shared onboard GPU. I can't vouch for Counterstrike; but I have played Unreal Tournament and various demos on a laptop with a 128bit shared memory just fine (normally play Guild Wars on it). Just make sure you get a wireless mouse to go with it, else you'll be banging your head constantly.
