Savages!

The rape and torture are uncalled for, but you have to understand that in some countries, family honor is regarded above and beyond everything. The lost of honor transcends generations that they have to protect it at all cost.

What, I don't care about culture, it is BS. This is the problem with our country, we try to be understanding of all other cultures, F that. You know what, that culture is wrong. This is not the 6th century.

What kind of F'ed up person would ever think it is OK, or God's will to kill your own daughter? No matter what the circumstances.

It is incomprehinsible how anyone could ever consider this "honor"

Well, I certainly understand that some countries/cultures have never entered the evolutionary process.

Yeah, they were certainly over the top with the rape and torture. What I understand is that they should send these two, and everyone that thinks we need to understand any of this, to Sweden for a sex change operation; wrap their azzes in a burka, and drop them off in that sh!t hole from where they came.

Don't get me wrong about this. I'm not condoning what they did, but the laws and culture of the West does differ from those of the East. It is legally wrong for them to kill their daughter in our law, culture and moral upbringing but to them who have been taught/indoctrinated differently since childhood, it is their duty to do such thing.

firstly women arent considered anywhere near equals. thats one of the roots of the problem. These societies allow the trading of women to increase the social economic standing of the entire family. So by this thinking, if you have damaged goods the entire family is chastised and suffers.
We have to change this concept little by little. And with modern technology, more and more women are reaching out and speaking up about this and other topics. When things like this become public. Its not the perpetrators of this crime we should be berating. They come from another culture and mindset.
Instead, focus on teaching the youth of the places that there are different ways of doing things. Reach out to these women. Here at home, maybe support a battered womans shelter, or tell a buddy to kind of chill out when he treats his wife or daughter like ####e.
The abuse of women only culminates in ten foot high flames, and for her its over in a flash of light heat and pain. For every one of these women, there are a thousand who live in the emotional dark, empty and cold of an abusive home, all over the world. Probably on our block.....
the worlds problems are closer than we think.

Hello??

The difference, my dear, is that abuse of women is not sanctioned by the US government. We build women's shelters and provide financial aid so that our American-made ladies have choices and can get out of their abusive situation.

Islamic women do not have that option.

Women in the US and other developed countries do have support systems, but there are plenty of dirty little secrets to go around.
The women in these other countries obviously are the victims of thousands of years of bad thinking.
But the tide will turn as with all things. Technology is beginning to empower women all over the world . To support and encourage one another via cell phone, email, or mass media. One idea might be to encourage these unofficial support networks, by bringing mainstream attention onto these abusive environments.
These government are run by the same people who grew up in the same environments as these perpetrators. What impetus do they have to change? Why does our government allow us to do business with these countries? We fund these regimes as long as the dollars flow smoothly.

I'm glad you asked:

If you think a Christian school kid praying before lunch should be suspended, yet Muslims stoning their women to death is "a cultural thing"
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If you applaud transgendered people for "expressing their sexuality", yet sneer at the idea of girls taking a vow of chastity until marriage
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If you believe that Homeland Security is eerily similar to Hitler's propaganda
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If you think abortion is "a woman's right to choose", but the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If global warming makes you so upset that you buy a Hummer to cheer yourself up
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If you own a Vive Che t-shirt, that rests in the drawer deside your F*** Bush t-shirt
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

If you've ever uttered the phrase, "Al Sharpton has a point..."
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

And last, but not least:

If you think burning a woman alive for sassing her man isn't such a bad way to go
...YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTREMIST LIBERAL

- i think its ok for a kid to pray at school. just dont make mine. plus its ok for a muslim to pray on an airplane during the flight.

- a vow of chastity is a commendable and a wonderful idea. but dont buy the cow before testing the milk.

- homeland security legislation walks a fine line and in the wrong hands has potentially dangerous consequences. but we need to enhance rather than increase search powers of our foreign and domestic protection programs. We're not at nazi proportions yet. But we've rounded up our own (asian)citizens on similiar homeland defense pretenses during WW2.

- pro choice, pro death penalty (fast track appeals and processing)

- hummers are cheap plastic crud that are built on durango frames

- i've seen a vive che t shirt and thought it looked kinda cool. BTW his last word are generally believed to have been: I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, you are only going to kill a man. referring to you cant kill a dream only the dreamer regardless of his politics. but communism sucks.

- al sharpton, pat robertson, jesse jackson, billy graham are a bunch of bigot loudmouths that only speak for a small outspoken minority within their own groups.

- burning anybody for doing anything is a pretty nasty thing to do to someone. Womens rights are still evolving, Dont forget that the womens suffarage movements were only 200 hundred years ago. Its been a constant battle in this country to just get equal pay. Whats a goatherder's wife to do?

whats does this make me? Hopefully an objective, open eyed, reasonable and honest person.
