Is she "sunk" in, (dip)....on both sides? Is it fat or if on one side, a previous injury?

Where? she has no injuries or abnormalties she is a FAT mare...lots of fat deposits..

I have her due Sept 9 2007 but Appendix says they foal early in the fall...and she is full term now 322 days....she is a maiden mare..

sorry it took a while to get back to you..thank you appendix for posting the info...She is relaxing and about to foal some mares show this more promenate than others. everyone is different..full moon tonight..???she might go tonight or tomorrow be prepared, One I mare watched foaled this way without waxing or bagging. Bagging was there you just could not see it foal was large and took up most of the underside of the mares belly. as soon as the foal dropped the udders were full and ready to give the baby his meal. we were concerned also because it was the mares first. Sue never bred her again her tummy dropped so far down it was like the foal and gravity were pulling the tummy from the back bone. The baby was fine and so was the mare.

I just came in from feeding her she ate her grain and went to her hay..I left her out she is in Rogers nice field...Condessa had Bonita on a full moon so ????? Condesas "milk" was typical thick and gooey like before they wax...Mistys is just thin tonight and non opaque

I have a mare when close to foaling time looks just like that and it is normal. She's most likely ready to go anytime soon.

My maiden mare didn't wax up at all. Her teets though looked like cones.. :lmao:

those are good pictures. i was thinking more along the lines of no muscle tone there since you said she is a fat horse that is what i thought. Hope she goes soon that poor mare looks tired of being preggo.
