FOXNews.com - Kucinich's Cheney Impeachment Resolution Stays Alive in House, Moved to Committee - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,308738,00.html)

This is fascinating. Democrats tried to kill it - and REPUBLICANS rallied to force a vote.

Steny said, "We're not interested in pursuing this."

And Republicans said, "No - bring it, dude! Let's get it on!"

Hysterical :roflmao:

These are the kind of political maneuverings that I love - FORCE THE VOTE! Get it on record!

And make the Democrats look like a bunch of idiots, just like they did with that Murtha bill.

...on CNN a reporter told that story and dutifully said the GOP'ers did it to try and embarrass Democrats; not a word about Kucinich and his motivations past the accusation that the Veep lied to congress, just fact, what Dennis the menace did and then a fact, the vote, and then the editorial about the GOP's motives; to embarrass Democrats as though Dennis suddenly didn't even exist.

the GOP'ers did it to try and embarrass Democrats;

And it worked! They look like absolute morons - worse than they already did! Almost as bad as when they had to vote on Murtha's Iraq bill :roflmao:

I LOVE IT!!! Put up or shut up, boyeeez

Effing idiots who wasted about 1,000 hours of America's time on bullchit.

Alcee Hastings said something about Kucinich being sick in the head and chasing UFO's. Pretty damn sad indicator for a political party when a member who is an impeached federal judge says one of the parties candidates for president is a nutjob. Ringling Brothers couldn't put together a better freak show if he sat in the gay sex pick up crapper of the Minneapolis/ST. Paul International Airport tapping his foot for a month.

At least our whack jobs are just closed homos.

I feel sorry for Steny - he's probably ready to throttle Kucinich about now.

It used to be impossible for the government to operate until a budget was passed. One year, congress gave themselves a one-time work around. that work around has now become the rule instead of the exception.

While Congress is busy with little Dennis tilting at windmills, the budget has still not been passed 37 days after the fiscal year started. This has to be the most ineffective congress of all time. Great job on both sides of the aisle.

It's not Dennis' job to make outrageous claims in order to get his name in headlines. It's not the Republicans job to help the Democrats look stupid. Both sides need to stop this petty BS and get to work.

Just in case Kerad shows up, I don't want him to be disappointed so I'll say it first:

Liberal press! Bias!

There is a picture of Kucinich with this article. he looks like the fool he is.

The article states how happy Kucinich is to get the bill in the process. Kucinich either fails to see that the Republicans are using him as a joke on the Democrats or he is too stupid to realise it. I dont know which.

Steny Hoyer immediately absolves the idiot Kucinich for bringing this farce to the floor and blames the Republicans for making a laughing stock of the fool.

What a House of Fools and still we have no Budget. One thing the Democrats did when they elected this pack of democrats to the House, they put the stops on any legislation that was worth a damn . This bunch could find their ass with both hands and a flashlight.

I'm not thinking that the American people are going to care much about Cheney's fate. However, the GOP just handed DK another 15 mins of airtime he wouldn't otherwise have been able to afford.

The dirty little secret is that the Dems know they've got nothing on Cheney. That's why they want to run their mouths but not take a vote.

...right. He's the most representative of America's left and their true feelings. The more Dennis is heard, the better.

Don't worry, though. To discredit Dennis, the media are starting to show his wife who is young and hot and looks like a hippy chick and...has a tongue ring.

This is the great thing about Dems. Like Patchy, Forest & anhoyingboy, if you let them talk enough, the comedy just gets better and better.

They're at the embarrasing stage now. JPC has moved on to the comedian.

I certainly hope Americans are paying attention to this do-nothing Congress. It's been a LONG and painful 2 years. WE NEED CHANGE!

It's pretty scary knowing America voted these losers into power. Even scarier is the thought that they may even retain power with a dem in the WH. These are fun issues to bat around but at the end of the day how will America respond to it?
