Anyone know how to get a hold of one around here. I've tried the Game Stop, Walmart, Radio Shack and Best Buy. My kid was given several PS1 games but she has a PS2. She says she can play them on her PS2 but she needs a memory card for a PS1 for it to work. TIA.

I do not think ps1 memory card will work on her ps2. I have ps1 games that I play and save on memory but I had to use ps2 memory card.

yup. ps2 will not accept ps1 memory cards but you can save ps1 games on the ps2 memory cards.

yup. ps2 will not accept ps1 memory cards but you can save ps1 games on the ps2 memory cards.

I dont see how he got it to work the ps1 one memory card does not work on ours, or anyone else that I know of and the stores we went to when ps2 first came out told us the same thing.

Maybe we are doing something wrong but I just went to check it again and nope wont read any of them???

Either way, it was poor engineering on SONYs part, you should be able to save PS1 games on PS2 cards, that's just silly....

you got me. They work in the PS1 but not in my ps2. but my slots are working cause I save them on PS2. I do have the older model the big fat one, maybe that makes a difference.

Oh well I am moving to PS3 soon enough.:buddies:
