If my digital cable goes out one more time, I'm going to, well, do nothing as there is nothing I really can do.

But it's really annoying when the picture goes in and out with no sound for 5, 10, 15 minutes. :tantrum

How about both? One has to work when the other isn't. Unless the power is out of course.

We've wanted to get Verizon FIOS for a minute now. It's only avaliable in the City of La Plata.

Would still cost more. Plus, we have our phone with Comcast and we have internet through Comcast since neither are avaliable through Verizon (or anyone else) over here.

Man, that's news to me! I've got to look into that today! A guy at work has it and absolutely loves FIOS!

No FIOS for my location in La Plata! :cries:

Hey we can't get anything! Cable ,verizon-not even DSL for phone!! We are enjoying our dial-up and TV antenna! Ha!!! We could get a dish(only option) but many neighbors with them have huge reception problems due to trees and yank them! Good luck!!!

Charles County won't allow it, yet.

La Plata's a seperate jurisdiction. They have their own city council who voted to allow FIOS to do their thing.

I can't believe Charles County doesn't already have fiber optic cable installed already. If that's true and Comcast doesn't use Fiber Optics, we're way behind.
