17 and all her favorite sights are filled with malware. I had to reformat and reload as this last one attacked itunes and I could not fix it. If you uninstalled and reinstalled itunes it would work for a few minutes then it would tell you that the ipod was bad and needed to be restored to factory. ( Not So ) ipod was fine the computter had 27 malware things on it. Now it has the parental controlls cranked up. Keyword and Image scanning filters look for bad words and porn.:killingme

Crazy...I have had computers and internet for almost 10 years now. I have never gotten any malware or viruses on my computer.

Get a MAC!

Reason viruses aren't as prevalent on Macs as PC's...everyone has a PC no point to bother with a MAC. Entertainment/photography wise I would get a mac. Business I would get a PC, Macs aren't compatible enough with all applications one may encounter in the work field.

I like running Linux on at least one PC, it is just as safe against virues and malware as the elusive MAC...and it is free(after buying a $400 pc)...not $2000 for a decent Mac.

Ok This is weird. There are two of us here that use this forum and if you hit the new post button then it will come back as the other poster. A sort of auto change of log on. Got Mcafee scanning and so far 35 detected ...... It has ben almost 24 hour since the format:popcorn:
