Does anyone know anything about this bar? Service, Quality, customers? Is it all bad or good?

I couldn't tell you. I haven't been there in about 8 years...it was fun back then.

I haven't been there in at least 6 years but was getting bad about that time with lots of fights and then the shooting.

Alcohol will bring the fights and drama to any place but it is normally the crowd of people when all of that crap starts to happen.

I think that you have a bad source of info. The person leasing it is a member on here. Darin West. He's a great guy. I love Monk's. Their food is great. All the years of going there, I have never dealt with a bad bartender. :yay:

I think so as well. I just was in there this week and no mention of that. Just of several bartenders moving on :shrug:

From what was told to me by the manager, several of the bartenders were moving on and they would need to be replaced when they are no longer available.

I guess where I get lost ( not that it takes much hehe ) is.. if you are selling a bar.. why are you hiring bartenders? I mean if the bartenders leave.. and there are NO bartenders left.. Ok I get it... but otherwise I dont understand...

Monk's is a good place now.

My roommate is a bartender there as well as another friend, they have said nothing about selling, I know my roomate is cutting back her hours because she got a different job. But that is all I know.
