2 injuries,1 elderly man with alter status? My guess, head injury, traffic will be a problem soon. Calling for a helo.
Hope everyone is ok.

A coworker is stuck in the traffic right now. She said it isn't even moving.

I turned around and headed back home. Thank goodness I wasn't on the bridge, I had to pee.

I was heading into work a little late, got almost up to the museum when I realized the bridge was a parking lot and did a u-turn.
Watching out of my window now.
Nothing has moved an inch yet.

I'm starting to think one of these might be a good idea.

I am on a conference call and one of the attendees said that the helo still hasn't taken off yet, and traffic isn't moving at all.

Hmmm... at least now when there's an accident, you can usually find all the pieces. With the boatcar, it will sink..... taking the dipstick drivers with it.....Hmmmm, sounding better....

Not impossible, highly impractical.. Slope would be tough but not insurmountable.
I'm sure it would fit, but I can't see them trying to get a stretcher in from the side with the Jersey Barriers there.

At the crown of the bridge there are 3 light poles which would interfere with the rotors. They could land a bit further north or south on the bridge, but it would be on a slope. If there is any breeze at all, I'd say it's not very wise.

If they had both lanes to work with it could be done, but I can't imagine why they would.

It can be done. I've seen one land on the bridge once before.

It landed just over the bridge on the St. Mary's side. I was 7 cars behind the accident, nearly hit the guy in front of me. A Ranger and small car were involved. It appeared that one of the two drifted over the center line and crunch. No skid marks so they hit at speed. The rear end of the little car jumped up about 3 feet at impact. If I would have left 5 seconds earlier, it may have been me in the accident.:yikes:
