Having one hell of a time getting to any of the somd.com sites, right now I am using an unblocking site to get on here (kind of like what had to be done when NMCI would block somd.com).

I have contacted the ISP and they claim they aren't having a problem getting to the sites but yet I still do. This started two days ago and for the life of me I can't figure out what is going on.

Anyone got any thoughts on resolving this?

it could be a flaky Router ..... Peering Connection @ one of the Big Boys - Savis ... Equinox ....

..... not as common these days

..... but I worked for the ISP / Dot come back in 2000 and this dsl customer would call if his connection dropped 5 packets, he was selling / hosting banner adds on a cheap DSL connection .... and teh phone would ring if the internet had the slightest hick up

so he calls one day .......... his adds are not getting out something is wrong with OUR connection .....

well after about 30 min of trace route to different HOPS on the Network .... I was able to find a "down" flaky router somewhere upstream .... do you think he cared or understood that there was a router in Canada dropping packets .....

the DSL went:

If I catch your drift it is the local router within the house that has the issue. I'll make sure it is rebooted and maybe look for updated drivers. If I recall right before this problem happened I also had a push for system updates for the OS.

Yep, getting out of the house and going anywhere I desire on the net except for SOMD.com related sites.

I have the exact same problem with somd.com on occassion, sometimes last a couple hours and sometimes a few days. No problems getting anywhere else on the net.
I have no words of wisdom but, share your pain. lol
