Just when I was beginning to feel the walls of middle class living closing in about me, Hillary says that I'm living in a life of luxury.

Hillary was on The Tonight Show last night and told Jay Leno that "... people have been terrific. You know, they come to the line, they have stories, they tell me this is the first book they've ever bought or they bring their daughters to meet me." Leno qued on her comment and said "if they're an adult and this is the first book they've bought, doesn't that say something about our education?"

Hillary said, "Well, it might say something about their income. You know, books, for a lot of people books are a luxury. You know, maybe they go to the library instead."

So... as I sit and look at all the books in my bookcase I now have a feeling of contentment for I have made it to the Big Time.:biggrin: I'm just worried that if the Dems ever get their power back I'll be forced to pay additional luxury taxes on books.

That's only if they don't force you to burn them. :lol:

They also say that a household bringing in 92K is upper class.

How long do you think it will be before they lower that bar so they can take more taxes from the middle class??

What's more of a hoot is it's her ilk that will be telling America "How out of touch" Conservatives are in the next election.

I guess they couldn't afford books during her hubby's administration...being a luxury and all. Bush's tax cut gave them a few extra bucks and look what they wasted it on. :lol:
