There is an Italian owner going to open an italian Bistro type restaurant in the old Momma Leones location the callaway shopping cent. They plan a real bakery and homemade italian foods.
The family that owns the new place has other family members who own successfull italian restaurants in other states.

Expected opening will be in mid June if all goes well with permits and set up.


I am checking into another rumor I heard about this shopping center. If it is true I will share it tommorrow.

1. Location
2. Rent

Rt 5 in Callaway is not exactly conviently located. It's not going to be in a location where people driving by will stop to check it out.

Is the landlord going to give them a good deal on the lease or will they be jacked up like San Souci. While it makes little sense to us common folk, apparently it's better to have a vacant store front, then to reduce your rent. (tax advantages).

My guess is that it will go TU for lack of cash in short order.
