Hi, I currently have AVG Free edition virus protection. The email's I receive have been acting up (outlook express). I receive them over and over for days. It is like the sender is hitting send repeatedly.....but I know that's not the case because it happens with different emails from different people.
Should I try a different virus protector? Thanks!

I am pretty sure AVG is not the problem - it is good stuff...
Is the e-mail "looping" from one user, different users from the same domain or is it random?
Is it a new message from the remote user or are they replying to yours?

I would almost bet that if you are receiving the mail it's not you that has the virus. Has anyone complained about receiving loads of email from you?
You should probably update your AVG definitions, reboot into safe mode and do a complete system scan just in case. It's not a bad idea to do this routinely anyway.
Here are instructions (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222) on how to get into safe mode (in case you didn't know).

I've been running AVG since 2001 without any problems. Your problem is you are on someone's SPAM list. It will eventually stop. Just keep deleting the message or setup a rule so your E-Mail program will mark it for deletion. If you don't know how - just let me know the e-mail program you are using.

Be careful. Although I think this is a great question, INKBLOT might call you lazy for asking... :huggy:

It's good to ask, get educated. Lord knows there are a ton of ignorant users out there who won't ask the basic questions because they are too proud or are afraid of being ridiculed.
