AP tally: Obama effectively clinches nomination (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D912O3VO0&show_article=1)

WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.
Campaigning on an insistent call for change, Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic race that sparked record turnout in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial divisions within the party.

The AP tally was based on public commitments from delegates as well as more than a dozen private commitments. It also included a minimum number of delegates Obama was guaranteed even if he lost the final two primaries in South Dakota and Montana later in the day.

The 46-year-old first term senator will face Sen. John McCain of Arizona in the fall campaign to become the 44th president.

I can't figure out how to embed the video, but this (http://www.redlasso.com/ClipPlayer.aspx?id=939e9d9f-8051-4ab2-a792-f1672eb44eb7) was a pretty good exchange on the racism backing Barry.

Why should she back down?
she won the nomination last year. Her super delegate buddies in congress will hand it to her at the convention because BHO "can't win the white house" and that's much more important the the silly little voters.

He has a better shot at it than Hillary. If the Dems want to hand McCain a tidy margin, go ahead and give Hillary the nomination.

:killingme: The stories were changing slightly between the AP wire stories, the various news breaks that come on the radio shows (some are ABC, some FNC) before I got home from work. Then after I finished my walk, and turn on FNC, I see that she is now willing to accept VP. :roflmao:

No, Barack - don't do it!! Don't fall for it!

Of course, I won't believe a word of anything I see or hear unless it comes from her mouth directly. Even then she's not to be trusted until he receives his coronation at the DNC convention.

Off topic but did you know Obama's hate church was on the receiving end of big government bucks?

But what makes one facility noteworthy in inner city Chicago is that it’s run by Trinity United Church of Christ. It’s the same church whose former head pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, drew widespread scrutiny after he cursed the U.S. government for its treatment of African-Americans.

FOX News has learned that over the last 15 years, Trinity has received at least $15 million in grants from the federal government — in other words, taxpayer money. LINK (http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/06/02/obamas-ex-church-has-won-15m-in-federal-grant-money/)

Just imagine how he'd have raved if he wasn't on the government dole.

Since I posted that article, Terry McAuliffe raced to a phone and called CNN and denied the whole story... said Hillary was staying in it till the convention. Then he called NBC a little later and said if and when Obama gets a majority of the delegates, which will be tonight or tomorrow, then Hillary will concede. Sounds like McAuliffe didn't check with the queen bee before calling CNN.

Now word comes that Hillary is sequestered in her house in trendy upstate NY... no doubt crying tears of fear and dispair onto her giant vagina-shaped pillow. All the newsies have trucks parked outside just waiting for her to come out and admit that she's conceding the race.
