I saw this also. Only no cop was around. There was a White SUV pulled over with a guy and a girl talking to the driver. The guy had a camera and there was a black SUV behind the white one.

Hmm. My boyfriend was walking with his brother on Seahorse Beach a week or so ago at night and a cop pulled up, flashing his lights. The cop was just making sure they weren't up to trouble and was being tailed by a man filming him. My boyfriend and the cop chatted for awhile and when he asked about why he was being filmed, the cop said that they were being followed to make sure that they were doing their jobs correctly. I don't know what to make of it; boyfriend said one guy with a camcorder...not a crew!

While I am sure most of you also travel through Waldorf, I also travel 231 to Calvert County. Destination, either St. Leonard or Huntingtown. I drive this route quite frequently from Waldorf. I thought Waldorf traffic was bad, but I'd rather drive 301, 925, Mattawoman/Beantown, 225, 228 any day! More power to the deputies in Calvert County (and let us not forget the Charles County's deputies/Maryland State Police. Thank you!) for doing what needs to be done. Do people think just because they are in the "fast lane" they can do 70, ride my butt, pass me on the right, and guess what? Still end up at the light, unless they really screw up and hurt somebody! Let's hope there's nothing that can be put on a show, maybe they just wanted to get all those dummy's that were acting like dummy's on camera and then, if we are lucky, they will lock them up and throw away the key. Slow down. Speed kills. And please, if you come through Waldorf, do what I do. Obey the speed limit!

I saw them yesterday on 4. The black SUV is an unmarked vehicle. When we saw them its grill was nothing but flashing blue lights. There were several people outside of the vehicle pulled over and I thought at first guns were drawn but they were holding video cameras and filming.

Well I'll tell you one thing. I really appreciate this thread because I'm gonna be a lot more careful around here now. Going with the flow of traffic is driving about 75 mph on rte 4, and still having people speed past you. With my luck, I'd be the one to get pulled over and humiliated on camera! Funny stuff! :killingme

Get your ass in the right lane then. You're causing as much danger by forcing people who actually have a life and places to get to to pass you on the right...Completely irresponsible. Stop worrying about the "speeders" and worry about your own dumbass and how you're contributing to making the drive for everyone unsafe.

What kind of car do you drive? We may see you on an episode of Speeders in the near future!

I have to admit that my biggest pet peeve is being stuck behind someone who is driving under the speed limit. I have no patience for that at all and it never fails that every single time I drive to/from Annapolis, it happens and a 35 minute trip takes nearly an hour. I won't say that people should "speed" excessively but I will say that if you're afraid to at least drive the speed limit, get off the roads so the rest of us can get to where we need to go.

There may be no legal requirement for slower traffic to keep to the right but common courtesy would be nice. People shouldn't be forced to pass on the right cuz some DB is teaching the speeders a lesson.

I have lived in several states from Connecticut down to SC and it is not a SoMD thing. It's everywhere. People taking away on their cellphones in the left lane doing 60 (on a 65mph highway like 95) without a single care for the traffic backing up behind them.
People have become so selfish behind the wheel. I guess that feeling of being anonymous means you can be an a$$hole.

How better to encourage reckless behavior and overzealous traffic enforcement. Do you think Tru TV gives a tinkers damn about you or your families well being. Not me.
