We've lived in the area for several years but haven't ventured out much to eat. What are some good food places at the Beaches? We have been to Westlawn and food was ok, service not so good. Thanks for any input.

Thursdays had great steaks, service is usually good. Baked sweet potatoes are great. Only drawback is sometimes the crowd is a little loud.

Hubby and I like Smokey Joe's. We've always had good food there.

Mangos in Rosehaven is pretty good too.
Abners usually has pretty good crabs.

We hardly ever get a dinner there (Neptunes) because we order so many of their yummy appetizers. Their zuchini stix are AWESOME!

My girlfriend got those and I "helped" her finish them :lol: I can't eat enough of their mussels.

I tried the new Bil Vil once and was not impressed with the food but the service was fantastic.

Smokey Joe's is good..and Rod n Reel isn't bad...great breakfast buffet.

Where is Bil Vil? Hubby told me he heard about this place. Is it casual or more like Westlawn? Definitely want to try Neptunes. Has anyone been to Beach Cove recently?

Thursdays- highly recommend the seafood skins
Hubby loves their crabcakes.
It does get loud there, but the foods worth the trip and reasonable.

7th street right before you get to the intersection (Thursdays & Sweet Sues) It is on the left. I think it is owned by the guy that had Vics Italia by the Bay.
