Barack Obama got stung by a challenge from a Las Vegas reporter on his energy policy, and specifically on his efforts to paint John McCain as a lackey of Dick Cheney. Jon Ralston asked Obama about the contradiction inherent in this strategy — the fact that Obama voted for Cheney’s energy bill in 2005 while McCain voted against it. Obama stammered out an accusation that Ralston was a proxy for McCain.

He was opposed to telecom immunity at the start, supported public financing at the start, thought the surge would create more violence at the start, and so on, and so on. “Don’t anticipate what I am going to do?” No one can anticipate what he will do — that’s the problem.

Jen Rubin (http://www.commentarymagazine.com/blogs/index.php/rubin/19451) says that the Obamessiah has apparently added another commandment: Thou Shalt Ask No Tough Questions of The One. I’d add, Thou Shalt Not Anticipate My Actions Based On My Statements

The rookie mistakes of Obama show clearly when he is not in front of a teleprompter. Dan Quale looks like an Einstein compared to this bozo. Yet the LSM keeps giving Obama a pass. Just how many Get My Foot Out My Mouth Free passes does this clown get?

Obama really doesn’t like a debate (http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/06/obama-really-doesnt-like-a-debate/)

:lmao:

Obama can give a great speech, I'll grant you that. Once he gets on his own without prepared comments, he looks like a deer in the headlights. For a Harvard Law grad, he sure lacks quick thinking. Did he really expect nobody was going to challenge him on this issue?

Long on rhetoric, short on critical thinking.

Obama opposes Yucca Mountain. What does he propose we do with nuclear waste?

Its easy to oppose something its not so easy to find a solution.

I havent heard Obama offer any solutions to much of anything he opposes. Except he did say to pump my tires up which would wear them out faster.

He can talk more and say less than any candidate I ever saw.

Maybe Nonno, F'stool or Kerad can fill us in on Obama's real positions. They'll just grab their copy of Mao's Little Red Book and translate for us.

A change I could believe in would be to start the primary's all over again with qualified candidates from both parties and let Hillary, Obama , and McCain go back to the Senate and waste their time instead of ours.
