Was right in the middle of a good MSNBC show about dudes who changed their sex and then decided to change back....I also wanted to watch Saturday Night Live and all I get is "One moment please, this channel should be available shortly."

:coffee:I hope I'm not speaking to soon but I've had maybe two CATV outages in the past year. I think Metrocast's rates are a bit high but the service is pretty stable.

it just depends on where you are....

I was up on the net around that time on Saturday and didn't have any issues. TV was on as well.

see that's weird because all of my crap went out at that time and was out for like an hour or so....my cable never really goes out..my internet was going out constantly until i fought with them enough they came out and raised the levels for our neighborhood last Saturday...everything has been GTG thus far...well besides that hiccup on Saturday late..but i assumed someone just hit a box or something..

This isn't really in reference to their tv services, but does anyone have their "medium speed" cable internet they offer?

What's yours like? Are you able to download music at a reasonable speed, and stream videos?

I haven't been able to since I signed up in December. I just thought I was paying for crap internet, until I mentioned it to my dad and he thought it was completely ridiculous that I couldn't stream a video with cable internet.

they were suppose to install cable/phone/internet on saturday and never did...I called up and asked what the problem was and they said they will look into it and call me back....still haven't heard anything....I'm thinking about going to direct tv

Hm. Actually, I don't know. They said they sold me "medium speed." I better check my bill, I don't think I've spoken to them since I signed up (I only realized something was wrong recently after I spoke with my dad about it). Gah! What's wrong with me? I need just a few more hours in the day.

I guess i only have the 1.5 Mb because we only have 2 emails...but i can play poker, download music, and surf the internet/watch movie clips at the same time with no lag in any of it... you might have a problem with your computer or something...

Yeah, I just figured it out - it's High Speed Basic. My computer's so old and broken down it's not even worth having internet at the house anymore. I'm seriously considering cutting it off until I get a new computer, or letting my room mate pay the $29.95 for it, and maybe getting myself some more channels.

Why not just figure out that Metrocrap just doesn't care -- I have an open box out front for at least the third time -- called the local number and threated to take the lid in an place it on a desk after damage was done to my car in the tropical storm on Saturday --- they don't care!!!!
