I am looking into getting a lap top.. Dont know alot about them so I need help. Want to do ebay check email etc..I was told some have wireless connect built in..I think I want that I have cable for my PC. I got a larger monitor from one of "us" and I have loved it and got a good deal..I have bought and sold alot through Somd..so I thought I would give you all a chance to hook me up... Thanks

I have owned 12 laptops in the last 10 years. I have not owned a desktop in that time. That said all models of laptops in the last 5 years or so have wireless hookups. I do not like EBay for used laptops cause the are to pricey for me. You can try craigslist. The best experience for buying used is usually from a newspaper like the Balto sun. If you try to buy from a newspaper you will notice they sell fast. You should get up early on Sunday or buy the sun on Saturday for Sunday ads.

I personally have owned only 2 used laptops, and the best one of the two was a Toshiba. I just brought a new Toshiba Laptop and it has all the bells, and whistles, and it was under 700 bucks..
You will never go back to desktop if you buy a good laptop......

GWguy advised me to go to Dell outlet and get a refurb for my son. I got away with one for 650.00 with Office Home and Student on it. If you don't need that it would have just been 499.00. It is an extremely nice lappy. They also have financing.
