How is reception of Baltimore area channels for rabbit ears or even a roof top antenna in this area? Im guessing not good but I figure someone out there may be using them.

I used one for years and have one you can take for free.
Get the amplifier fromn Radio Shack, aimed it between Baltimore and DC and got about 20 channels.

I guess they would be ok, but weak.

What are you going to do come Feb. '09 when everything goes digital?

what does that have to do with an OTA antenna? HD flows thru the OTA antennas just like SD.

Get the best antenna available (Winegard is very good) a good amplifier and a rotor. When you look at antenna's look for a deep fringe type.

Thats what I had in Ohio and it was a nice supplement to my dish.
