CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An off-the-cuff interview with Democratic nominee for Vice President Joe Biden posted on YouTube reveals that Biden apparently doesn't want coal plants in the United States.

The video appears to have been shot in Ohio while Biden was campaigning.

"No coal plants here in America," said Biden to a woman asking questions about clean coal.

Representative Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) says Biden's talking about jobs in the Mountain State.

"It was a very unscripted moment as many we find in this YouTube generation, but this is where you're speaking the truth and your true feelings come out," said Capito. "He was very adamant in his opinion that no clean coal, no coal plants here in America. To me that's Americans jobs and West Virginia jobs."

Nahhh, he can't be THAT stupid ... can he?

Especially since coal is one of our cheapest resources and they now have zero emission coal plants being tested in places like Texas.

WTG for the cause, Biden! Screw being dependent on foreign sources and screw all the progress in zero/low emission plants!

70% energy conversion and zero emissions!

You think they would be cheering. More jobs for Americans based on cheaper energy!

With all the stuff he claimed to have been in favor of first and all the bills he posted in the far prehistoric past, I was waiting for him to have claimed to have invented the (all together now) internet!

Yet you have the West Virginia UMWA union bosses saying that West Virginians need to get out and vote for Obama, he's for unions !

We need to have domestically produced energy for this nation to survive, people need to wake up and see that.

You never know. Obama's *official* position is that he DOES support clean coal. Biden putting his foot in his mouth as almost as certain as death and taxes.

Those guys really need to sit down and talk.

Those guys really need to sit down and talk. You'd think Biden would have read their web site under "issues" or something. Or, maybe they have talked, and Biden's just telling us what will be their position if they're elected, not what they say their position is today.

The problem with Joe is when they drilled the holes for the hair plugs they went too deep and took out his frontal lobe. Now he has no short term memory. So unless it's written down for him, he's screwed.
