I have this new lap top with Windows Vista. I was trying to get an email program I could click and go on. I tried yahoo and the windows mail. At one time the other day I clicked on a web page and went to FILE, SEND then page by email or link by email and the other choice was sent to desktop. Anyway today I can go to FILE, SEND but they are not highlightable or usable only the send shortcut to desktop is clickable...does anyone know why? Or how I can make it go to FILE, SEND and then SEND LINKIE BY EMAIL??

Are you using Firefox or IE?

Well, i know microsoft office can be used to send items via e-mail. I don't have that program here, so I tried to send via e-mail and it seems like my g-mail worked too. not sure what i set up, other than the google desktop stuff.

If you are using IE you have to click on PAGE next to TOOLS, then move down to send link by email.

If you are using Firefox just click on FILE and go down to send link.

Try going to tools and internet options, then click on the advanced tab, then click reset and see then restart internet explorer. See if that fixes it.

now that you had me reset it I do NOT have anything saying work offline when I drop down in the tools menu.

That's weird, I just reset mine and all the options are there. You may have to break down and call your computer manufacturer for help.

I am not sure..I have a yahoo acct and a metrocast acct...I was just wanting to be able to click on an email addy and send it..I have that part down now..but the buttons are not there (clickable or highlightable) for sending link or page..they were their the other day..whats up with that??
