The bearing presses on to the hub which is approximately 1 1/2" in diameter and then I believe it presses into the spindle. I was considering just tossing it all in the freezer to see if I could remove the hub, press on bearings etc...I suppose I could calculate the interference fit to see how much force I actually need...
