Bf mentioned skiing in the Poconos in December. Is there anything else to do up there? :ohwell:
Neither of us have ever been skiing, so I imagine that once we're bruised and frozen, we'll want to find something else to do.
He will be staying in Kingston for 2 months on a job so the closer to Wilkes-Barre the better?
Anyone ever been to Camelback?

The Pococnos is amazing in the winter. Yeah...it's ski-centric, but the clubhouses, bars, and the whole "vibe" is really cool, even if you're not a hardcore skiier.
And what a better time to try it out? Go skiing. Take the class, and go down the bunny hills with a bunch of 5 year-olds skiing past you to make you feel doofy.
You should go.

I tried so hard to get him to rollerskate when I was up in Michigan a few weeks ago. He said HAIL NO! but then comes up with the skiing idea:doh:
I think he wants to do it because he loves to see me get pissed when I can't do something. I whooped his arse at pool and putt-putt all weekend.
I used to live about 20 minutes from where he is going to be working but that was 15 years ago and I worked every day of the week, pretty much. I was in to the city thing back then and spent all my spare time metro:shrug: Skiing sounds fun though.
