Trying to figure out the best glucosamine to my dog. Thanks for your experiences. There seem to be many options, liquid that tastes like beef, I'm sure there are some treats, etc. Any input would be helpful!

Personally if I was going cost effective I would get some for horses (powder) and dose down for the dog and top on canned food..

My dog was on "Joint Max III" for years from www.healthypets.com however, she decided she doesn't like it anymore and I have switched to liquid instead. It seems easier to pour it over her food. The treats did seem to help her as she got older....and they had a variety of them.

I am almost positive Nutramax makes glucosamine for dogs. Yep here ya go, but look it up on Amazon.com You can usually get your best price there.

Cosequin glucosamine chondroitin sulfate for pets (http://www.nutramaxlabs.com/Products/Animal/Cosequin/cosequin_jointHealth.asp)

I'd first ask my vet for recommendations.
