I've went through two TV cards in an attempt to digitize my VHS-C home videos myself (I think my computer is too old for that kind of stuff). I'm giving up. Yesterday I brought the videos to Ritz Camera in Waldorf to have them do it, but they have their head up their butt. Can anyone point me towards a capable local teen who has a computer set up to do this and who wants to make some quick money?

its pretty easy my friend. i have a usb-capture device that i use, that sometimes does the trick, other times the adioo seems to lag. i could offer to help if u still need it. im pretty sure i can borrow a pci-tv capture card from a friend, and if not, if you still have ur tv cards, i could use yours on my pc, and offer you an even lower rate being id be using ur card. we could always give the usb card a shot as well. just email me at killabnilla@aim.com or msg me w/ the same SN on AIM, and lemme know if i can help!

DVD Recorders are readily available now. Like the old VCR. If you have a lot of tapes, it may be cheaper to buy one of these. Plus, you can record programs from T.V. for future use.
