Amen. It's interesting. The people I know who are business owners and are smart are voting for McCain. The people who I know who are just smart enough to watch TV, are voting for Osama.

As I've said before, it bothers me that the media is molding this election. It bothers me that there are people who are voting for Osama just because he is black. It bothers me that most of these people are willing to ignore all of Osama's associates. He scares the hell out of me but many aren't willing to even pay attention.

Come on people! Wake up before it's too late.

Well, glad to see you are voting for McCain. Most uneducated people, or at the very least, the people that are voting and know basically nothing about the elections will be voting for Obama.

Thank you for your McCain vote!:buddies:

McCain. I think he should have been the guy back in 2000 and if I were him I'd hate Bush with all my passion. He'll probably get screwed out of two elections becasue of that.

Why?

A big reason for me is because it's not often that America is able to vote for a middle of the road candidate. Usually it's two polar opposites.

Although it's almost impossible I try not to look at the candidates themselves. Everything is too Hollywoodesque these days. I'm not interested in being bought by shady words or a decent hair-cut. I base my vote off my opinion on the issues and whomever match's up better with that has my vote. I agree with Obama on some issues but with McCain more-so, probably because he's more of a middle of the road guy, which most Americans admittedly are.

Obama:

Ayers, Wright, Dorne, Rashid Khalidi, Alinsky (quoting Rules for Radicals in numerous stump speeches), Rezco, his communist mentor Frank Marshall he wrote about in his book, he hasn't released crap as far as any records, was in the Senate for 200 or so days, voted present a billion times, flip-flopped like no other on pretty much everything he has ever said, Card Check, Born Alive infant Protection Act, Global Poverty Act, the fact that every tyrannical dictator in the world is pulling for him, "spread the wealth", Joe "stand up Chuck" Biden, his quotes "To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists" ... and "I found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race”. Oh, and he has big ears :coffee:

That's change you can believe in !!

On a side note ... can someone answer me how in the he!! ANYONE could possibly "on the fence" in this one? Unbelievable!!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

I can't wait for the election to be here!!!

Elections are exciting and exhilerating! It's such a true proud honor of being an American!

The crap leading up to someone becoming The Deciderer .... The days until the Inauguration.... The initial excitement and supportiveness and the awesomess that this election can only bring and for those in office! And back to the biatching and to the circle it completes until the running for the next election.

Just please, :dead:, no mas!

I voted for Bob Barr on my absentee ballot. Not like it will make a difference though since Obama will get all the electorals for North Carolina anyways.

Hmm, I'm sensing sarcasm. So why venture into political treads
Seems you should only stick to the important things in life like American Idol and the like. That is until the country falls into the pit of communism and you're standing there scratching your head wondering how and why it happened?

We'll be that much closer to when SAM28000 or 29000 will take W back to TX.

Against Obama!
I heard Hannity on the street on Serius Radio on my way into work this morning. He was interviewing people on the street last night in NYC. The Obama supporters almost all agreed that the government should give people who couldn't afford them, homes, cars, food, health care, cloths and money. Are people really this shallow and uneducated to know that that is full blown Socialism leaning twards Communism, and that is HAS NEVER WORKED anywhere is has been tried, and the populations in those countries were living in dismal third world conditions. There was no middle class and only the rich bereaucrates controlling the poor proletariots!

I believe they are uneducated, with a powerful media that wants to keep them there to make big $$$.

:yeahthat:
Way too many are believing all the wonderful rhetoric coming from Obama and are being led around by the nose by the media. They just aren't educated enough to realize who will pay in the end. Gwydion, I'm glad you see the light and have educated yourself well. Western Europe "democracy" (socialism) is not for us.

I already voted for McCain. Obama is going to create a society that if not already expects a handout out will on a consistent basis. Why go out and get a job when you can just collect welfare, food stamps and have the govt pay for your babies until their 18. That already happens way too much, and it'll happen even more. If anything it should be a highly regulated process for the people who really need it. I know just how easy it is for applicants to string along on the system and not work. McCain is going to give everyone some sort of tax cut across the board.

Oh, and Obama says he isn't going to tax all these people but he will tax big business? Yeah, okay... Go ahead and tax those big businesses and lets see if they don't raise the prices of their goods which they pass on to us, their customers. And I'm sure there are rebuttals to everything I've said, thats how it works, but what's the point in me arguing, I've already voted and I have faith in who will this race.

Oh? And Universal Health care? Look at Canada and see how much they like it... They hate it! Maybe if Americans didn't live beyond their means with 500,600 hundred dollar SUV car payments or a house they couldn't afford with out two mortgages or even afford to put a down payment on, then they could have afforded to purchase their own health insurance. But then again, I guess that would just be too damn easy.

(Sorry for any errors I was on a rant!)

The validity of your post lies in your questioning me of "why venture into the political treads?" Otherwise, I'd consider it a waste of bandwidth. I ventured, I suppose, because I was curious to see if folks actually disclosed personal information on their selection for our next president. And the "why" as a follow up. I always have something to learn. But agitation got the best of me, therefore I stated my only opinion on the matter - just get it over with. The election, that is. Both sides have scary agendas, if you ask me, however one is less harmful to the good of the country.

It is what it is.

Also, interpret what you will from my post, and about my person. I've never seen an episode of American Idol, or Lost or Deal or No Deal or any of the "hot shows of our time." I'm not even sure as to what is out there. Perhaps you can go into the Entertainment/Television section and write reviews in effort to work on that pesky presumption problem.

But, yes, I am anxious for the election to be over. I'm ready for the next phase to begin. I'm ready for W. to step aside. I am ready for change - in some areas, that is, not all - but still, change.

I THINK that's about all - hopefully we won't endure a commie takeover or a like Idiocracy fulfillment. :yay: But keep your fingers crossed just the same.
