went to bed with her laptop and accidently pushed it off the bed....it now has a "crack" in the screen

Is there a way to fix this or should I just tell her to deal with it?

laptop monitor is the last thing you want breaking. haven't heard of a way to fix it without getting a new unit. The only suggestion I'd have is getting a normal monitor and hooking it up to the laptop so you can use that instead. of course, it isn't portable with that solution

Good morning,u can replace the screen. Its not that hard really, but can be costly.

If you have anything with Verizon, get their electronics coverage program and wait 90 days then report it and they will fix it for $75. The program through them covers all tv's and phones and computers, for 19.99 a month. The coverage per item is up to $2500.00.

That would be insurance fraud and have everything to do with what is wrong with this country.

Check ebay. I've seen laptops being parted out on there. May be able to find a monitor.
