Supreme Court to Uphold or Ignore the Constitution? (http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/6790)

Statements from the article.---------------------

Article II – Section I establishes who is eligiable to run for President of the United States, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

there is no more important issue before the court today and the clock is ticking.

He is not president until he is sworn into office by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, despite his efforts to create unconstitutional power in the nonexistent office of “President-Elect.”

However, the court is not bound by public popularity. It is instead bound by it’s obligation to protect, defend and uphold the U.S. Constitution and allowing an ineligible candidate to be sworn into the highest office in the land would be the greatest affront to constitutional law in U.S. history. It would be a complete failure of the court, not to mention a complete failure of the Constitutional Republic as a whole.

If I were Obama, or even an Obama supporter, I would want no such cloud hanging over my administration. The notion that Obama can unite the nation is beyond silly when half of the nation believes he is wholly ineligible even to seek the office of president.

If the constitutional requirements for the highest office in the land are no longer to be upheld, nothing in the constitution is to be upheld. The entire document will be rendered no more valuable than an outhouse copy of a Sears catalogue.

Obama could have ended this discussion at any time over the last two years, by simply offering the “transparency” he based his campaign rhetoric upon. He has instead, spent over a half-million dollars in legal fees attempting to subvert the constitution and run the clock out before facing the matter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Supreme Court has to demand that Barrack Obama present the proper birth certificate or the foundaton of the Constitution is in jeopardy.
Any attempt to drop this on any technicality will forever leave a stigma on the Office of the President and the Constitution itself.

This is one they cannot avoid, without insulting the Constitution.

If he is legitimate, no harm, no foul, if he isnt he cannot serve .

One other paragraph there really was humorous in its slap in the fce of the American press.

Respected author and journalist Joan Swirsky, chronicles the numerous legal challenges to Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility in her November 24th column, The Great Birth Certificate Scandal-Cover-Up of the 2008 Election. A story buried by the entire American press corps for months now, in their effort to seat their “global messiah.”

I was under the impression everyone had to prove they qualified before running for office (for any public office). Wouldn't Obama have had to provide someone a birth certificate before entering the primaries? Just because one hasn't been produced for the general election or any time recently doesn't mean one hasn't ever been produced.

It's a weird issue. Everyone keeps crying about him needing to show a birth certificate, but I'm not understanding WHO is actually asking to see it (within the government) and who he'd need to provide it to. Just saying "hay everybawdy, here's mah birth certificayte!" and waving it in the air or on the news isn't going to do anything. I see a bunch of random media-types asking for it, but that's about it. Then again, I'm not paying much attention to this issue...I just read the random blurbs.

All you do is sign a statement saying you're qualified. That's it.
The press or the public is responsible for using the court system to remove any doubt concerning someones qualification.

Any on of the dozen current lawsuits would seem to be an appropriate place to provide the required documentation.
The courts seem to be saying that everyone bring a suit to require proof is not being harmed by the constitution being circumvented.

He has waved hit Certificate of Live Birth given someone from Hawaii. Nobody was aware that Hawaii will give anyone a COLB no matter where they were born. In his case, the only COLB presented in a format that allows for forensic study has been show several times to be a forgery! The L.A. Times claims to have seen and held a document. But they have not subjected it to forensic study.
