Check w/ Well Pet Clinic...sometimes 'found' dogs from the park area are turned in to them - 301-866-0303. Good luck, hope she turns up safe and sound. Don't forget to check w/ All Kinds Vet, St Mary's Vet, animal control, and the shelter.

As far as the shelter you should go up there although they should be able to tell you if they have a daschund (sp).

Posting signs is a good idea and take a sign to whichever post office delivers in your neighborhood, mailmen/women see quite a bit in the neighborhood. You should definitely take signs to the Well Pet Clinic and the other vets. They are all busy places and may not think about it if they get a phone call, but the sign will help them remember.

Have you talked to your neighbors?

Good luck and don't give up hope.

Animal Details (http://www.charlescounty.org/es/apps/availableanimals/details.jsp?ID=59628)

Here is one that is at the pound. Its says its a hound mix, but it looks like it could be a dashchound.

edit--I removed one because it was a male.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's kind of hard to understand a post with no puncuation. You were so worry about your lost dog that you allowed someone to give it away to a "slow" girl?
