All,

My daughter is having an issue with her 2000 Volkswagon Jetta VR6. Please PLEASE PLEASE.....don't blast me about it being a Volkswagon. I know I made a mistake by buying it and have learned my lesson!

I am looking fro a "GOOD" Mechanic. one that might actually be able to fix the problems the first time!! I have had it in the shop several times for the same things and I need to get it fixed.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the Lexington Park area?

Can't help you with the mechanic, but I will tell you my baby sis and her hubby have two VW's, a Jetta and a Passat. They're both older, like yours, lots of miles and they love them. He complains about how much it costs to fix 'em, but they love 'em.

I have heard good things about M&R behind JoAnn's at San Souci plaza.
What are the problems?

Problems starting and a slight miss and highway speeds.

It has electrical issues and I am just set up to isolate and fix em.

I have a Passat ( love it!)and took it to Hodges in Hollywood for a new water pump and some sensor.. Not as costly as a dealer and they did a fine job.

Do you mean R&R? They closed up shop.

I would suggest taking your Jetta as far from Southern MD as possible!
