I ate dinner at Panera bread tonight and the food tasted good. My complaint is that the portions are tiny for the price. I'm 6-4 240 pounds and I was hungry and they give me this tiny bowl of soup! Looked like something off of a children's menu.
The bowl was so small I just picked up the little thing and gulped down the soup in two gulps. Took me less than 30 seconds to eat my meal. I ordered a sandwich which was well just a sandwich and nothing special. Not impressive.
What's with all the idiot's on their laptops in this place? Yes, I had my laptop with me so I could read about SOMD while I enjoyed my meal.

I love Panera.
Me too! That place is the best in the winter time. Go there for hot soup and warm sandwhich....mmmmm! I thought the portions were just right. Sometimes a little too much which ever one you go to. If you get the whole sandwich they are BIG.

I've always had a hard time finishing my meal at Panera, and I LOVE food. For a white girl, I can grub on some food.

My 8 year old gets the bread bowl soup everytime! He eats most of it. The grilled cheese they have is gooey and yummy! Sounds like we should go for lunch and just make sure this person is actually talking about Paneras and not some other place

uhhh...that place is relatively cheap and the portions aren't that small. i've seen far pricier places giving far less bang for the buck.

You are complaining that the portion is too small? Wow, that is precisely why obesity in this country is so rampant. There is no need to get stuffed at each and every meal. Went out with my husband last night (we don't go out too much with the kids but had a sitter), we split an entree and were still stuffed. Slow down and enjoy your food and conversation.

As a rule, portion sizes are way too big, and I'm happy to find smaller portions. Prices should be reduced accordingly. But I don't find the portions at Panera to be particularly small.

BlueBird just needs to start making whoppers at Burger King a routine for each meal.

If you weren't such a fat ass, maybe you be satiated with normal portions

You're 240lbs and you only ordered a sandwich and a soup and your complaining because it didn't fill you up. If you want to do the math their sandwiches are anywhere from 700 to 1100 calories and soups are only 300 calories. Next time order 2 sandwiches, no soup.

I'm on a diet......
I'm 6' 4" and I weigh 240. Is this really considered fat?
I've spent alot of time in the gym so it's still mostly muscle.

Yes. Doc says I don't need them anymore and the voices haven't come back yet. I think I'm more fun without the meds even though the side effects are driving me nuts. Oh wait I'm already nuts!

I've seen a lot of examples lately of portions being reduced and the price stays the same. Its been that way in the grocery store also..

It's okay, NGM is gone so we can say things like this without fear of being outed as a racist...
I was going to leave this alone but since you brought it up everyone knows that white girls eat less than girls of other races.....

I've never eaten there but have been wanting to eat there. I kind of look at it as a sort of "Starbucks" type of place. I see people in Starbucks with laptops, sipping their latte's and on their computer.
BTW, you seem to complain a lot!!! Don't you have anything nice to say about anything?
