Anyone know of any TV repairmen who may still make house calls. My 36in Panasonic decided to crap out yesterday. Was just surfing channels and all of a sudden lost picture and sound. I have DirecTV, I can get the info across top of screen, showing what channel and what is on then it goes dark nothing. The set is about 7 years old, maybe I hurt its feelings cause I have been kind of dropping hints to the DW that a flat screen would look nice there instead of the Panasonic. The thing is way to heavy to be moving around and needs 2 people to move so it kind of needs a house call.

Sears makes house calls but they might cost more than the tv's worth.

Isn't Mark's the place next to the bowling alley and that I have seen thread after thread about being a rip off?

And to add he has no customer service skills. He acts like he is doing you a favor for taking the time to work on your equipment.
