Also something about a Busload of Military People.

1602: MSP Officer in the area ATLing.

Officer advising nothing seen at this point. Still looking.

1604: Several Officers in the area. Nothing found. Cancelling any other inbound units.

1605: Caller called back advised a Silver Civic and a Yellow Cobalt left the scene and went down Maple Rd.

1610: Original Caller now at Chipotle (sp) waiting for officers.

1618: Unit(s) at Chipotle now request additonal officer.

Sounds like the have the TAG numner of the Yellow Cobalt. Unsure if they actually have the vehcile or just a witness provided Tag Number.

I watched this happen: it was *too* wierd-- I was in the bus with the Navy guys. We went on a field trip up to the NTSB training center, very interesting....

The fight was over somebody apparently trying to change lanes, and ensuing road-rage words... Dude got all wiggy and retrieved a baseball bat out of the trunk of his GF's car, AFTER busting the lip of the passenger of the car that was trying to get into the turn lane. Might not want to do that with a busload of NAvy officers watching, all of whom have cell phones and notepads to write down license numbers. The baseball bat dude was about to bust a female with the bat when a Navy CDR stopped him... he then ran to the yellow car and they split, running the red light.

I hate to say there was SMIB-age involved, but I saw what I saw.... somewhat surreal, actually.

I was at the back of the bus, so it wasn't me, it was the guys up front that had the bus driver open the doors and stepped in. But yes, good on them, I agree. Given these guys were all pilots at Pax, not too surprising that they would be willing to step up, they are all a great bunch of guys, and I am privilaged to be able to work with them!

Wow. I can just imagine an entire bus load of Navy men taking care of the situation if the perp had even tried to attack a female. I think he'd have been quite sorry :lol:
